ピーターと狼　Peter and the Wolf

　本日は、コンサートのメインプログラムとしてお贈りする、交響的物語『ピーターと狼』についてご紹介します。

交響的物語『ピーターと狼』/プロコフィエフ

　ストーリーテラーと小規模なオーケストラのために書かれた作品です。1946年にはウォルト・ディズニー・カンパニーによりアニメーション映画化され一躍人気となりました。

　今回は、ピアノとフルートによる演奏と、英語のナレーション（日本語字幕）により物語をお楽しみ頂きます。また、スクリーンに映し出されるオリジナルのイラストや、出演者による演劇を交えながら、オリジナリティ溢れる作品に作り上げていきます。ここでしか味わえない『ピーターと狼』を、ぜひ会場でお楽しみ下さい！

  I would like to introduce the main program for our concert, “Peter and the Wolf”.

  This composition was written by Prokofiev. Originally this is the piece for one storyteller and a small orchestra. In 1946, this piece got popular because of the filmization by Walt Disney Company. 

  At our concert, we are going to play the music by a piano and a flute, and tell the story in English. Also, you will be able to enjoy our original illustrations which are on the screen and our acting. This is going to be totally original works, so don’t miss out on our concert on March 22nd!!
